BERITASOLO ■ Polres Kep. Selayar conducts Focus Group Discussion (FGD) activities, by inviting several speakers with the theme "Illegal Fishing Breaking the Law, Damaging the Environment and Harming the Community".
The FGD activity was held at Coffe House, Jalan Rauf Rahman, Benteng city, on Tuesday (07/14/2020).
Deputy Chief of Police Kep. Selayar, Kompol Rahman conveyed the appeal of the Chief of Police to the marine products entrepreneurs and all stakeholders to get together with the police, especially the Kep Police. Selayar guard and prevent illegal fishing.
"We are concerned with people who are still fishing illegally, using fish bombs and anesthesia (potassium), to catch fish," said Kompol. Rahman.
Rahman said that catching fish and other sea products illegally was illegal and could endanger the perpetrators.
"To businessmen of fish and other sea products, so as not to buy fish caught using bombs and anesthesia (Potassium)," appealed to Deputy Police Chief.
