BERITA SOLO - Gerindra Party Secretary General Ahmad Muzani said that he could not confirm that Prabowo-Sandi would attend the invitation The General Election Commission that plans to appoint elected president and vice presidential candidates for the period 2019-2024 on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
"Mr. Prabowo and Mr Sandi were not present at the KPU and in the previous presidential elections, I also had never seen a presidential candidate whether those who were declared superior or had less votes and so on, were never present," he said.
Therefore, Muzani has not confirmed whether they will attend tomorrow. But the possibility of the secretaries-general of the Adil Makmur Coalition party will come or not, it must also be put together first.
"About whether the party secretary general is present or not, we will discuss later, whether we need to be present or not," he said, today.
Previously, the General Election Commission will hold an open plenary meeting for the selection of elected president and vice presidential candidate pairs on Sunday 30 June 2019 at the RI KPU office at 15.30 WIB.
According to the Chair of the KPU, Arief Budiman this event will begin at 15:30 a.m. WIB.
"For the pair of candidates we also gave invitations to each of the 20 invitations for each candidate pair. Hopefully tonight can be completed so that afternoon can be sent," said Arief.
