    Why Must Be Special in Shalat?

    The theme of the special Shalat is from the works of Imam Ghazali's Islamic hujjatul in the book Ihya 'Ulumidiin in the Kitabu Asraris Shalati chapter which examines various secrets and wisdom in Shalat.

    Starting from the body movements to the value content in the prayer recitation, which if properly understood will add meaning to the prayer itself.

    Basically prayer is a worship that aims to remember Allah as His word.

    وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي

    Why must always remember God? because forgetting God is a big mistake. Various countless and priceless Allah's blessings, began to enjoy looking, feeling, feeling, breathing and so on, all obtained from God for free. How is it worth forgetting God, if this life depends entirely on God? that's why God reminds us of his word

    ولاتكن من الغافلين

    Do not (you) be among those who forget (Al-A'raf 205)

    Included in the category of forgetting is to Shalat without the presence of the heart. Dry prayers, prayers that only aim to abort obligations. Even though his mouth looks busy, not even one rakaat is understood. The heart is filled with world problems.

    What was said was indeed Takbir reading, which was heard was a recitation of prayer beads but what was remembered was merchandise, business affairs, and so on. God does not consider this kind of service. The Prophet said:

    لاينظر الله الى صلاة لايحضر الرجل فيها قلبه مع بدنه

    God does not look at someone's Shalat that does not present (concentration) his heart and body.

    Even more than that, God threatens those who pray in a negligent or empty state, meaning that prayers are carried out just like that without accompanied khusyu. In Surat Al-Maun verses 4-5 Allah explains the threat:

    فَوَيْل لِلْمُصَلِّينَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتهمْ سَاهُونَ

    So woe to those who Shalat, those who fail from their prayers.

    Therefore, if the legal requirements for Shalat consist of various acts of dhahir, then actually khusyu is an inner action that cannot be abandoned, because it occupies the position of adab (manners) in prayer.

    Like a presidential guest besides being neat, he must behave politely to him with respect. Thus in a prayer a servant must feel as a weak person and only He is the most powerful.

    Regarding this, the story of Hatim al-A'sham when asked by someone about the way he prayed explained "I made the Ka'bah between my temples, I made sirath on the soles of my feet, heaven on the right and the hell on my right, and the angel of death is behind me ready to pounce on me, so that I feel my Shalat is the last prayer, "

    If it is so, then the impact of prayer will be felt in all lines of life. Prayer not only builds individual piety, but also social piety.

    الصلاة مطهرة للقلوب من أدناس الذنوب واستفتاح لباب الغيوب

    In fact the Shalat cleanses the heart from the filth of sin and opens the doors of the occult.

    Shalat like this are commanded by Allah as contained in Al-Ankabut verse 45;

    اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاء وَالْمُنكَرِ وَلَذِكْرُ اللَّهِ أَكْبَرُ

    Read what has been revealed to you, namely Al Kitab (Al Quran) and establish prayer. Verily the prayer prevents from (evil deeds) And actually remembering Allah (prayer) is greater (its priority from other services).
